1. Who we are

Femme & Soul is a heels and commercial dance studio for women, running courses, classes and events in Limerick and Cork, Ireland. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use this site, we collect:

• Your email address and, optionally, your first name, when you join our mailing list or ask to be notified about a course, class, event or product.
• Any consent you give us to be contacted, recorded alongside your details.
• Your name, email address, phone number and message when you contact us.
• Your name, email address, phone number, chosen courses and membership plan when you book or purchase a membership.
• Booking references, membership eligibility and credit records, payment status, and the versions and acceptance times of the terms, waiver and cancellation policy.

Native bookings and memberships are managed through this website. Stripe handles your payment details securely; our booking database stores payment references and status, not your full card number or security code. Existing bookings made through Bookwhen may remain there during the transition to this system.

3. Why we collect it

We use these details to answer your enquiries, administer your bookings and membership, track payments and course credits, record your acceptance of the relevant policies, and send service messages such as confirmations, member codes and payment reminders. We also send the enrolment notifications and event updates you have requested. We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Who processes your data

The following processors handle data on our behalf, each under its own privacy and security terms:

• Supabase (EU-hosted database): stores form, booking, membership and policy-acceptance records, and provides administrator authentication.
• Vercel: hosts this website.
• Stripe: processes course payments and membership subscriptions.
• Resend: delivers transactional booking and membership emails.
• Bookwhen: holds bookings made through the previous booking system.
• Flodesk: sends the emails you have signed up to receive.

5. How long we keep it

We keep notification-list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Booking, payment and policy-acceptance records may need to be kept for longer to administer the service, resolve queries and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact us about the records we hold and requests for deletion.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase, or receive a portable copy of the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@femmeandsoul.ie and we'll sort it promptly.

7. No sale of data

We do not sell your personal data, and we never will. Full stop.

8. Cookies

This site uses only functional cookies needed for it to work properly. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies without your consent.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or practices change. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last revised. This policy was last updated on 16 September 2026.
